My name is Mitko Haralanov and I am originally from Sofia, Bulgaria.

I came to the US as an exchange student in High School. I was in High School here (well, New Mexico) for one year. Fortunately, that one year was 12th grade.

After I graduated High School, I was accepted to New Mexico Tech, where I persued a degree in Computer Science. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science degree in 2000. After I finished college, I moved to the Bay Area, California to start my first job at Inktomi Corp. Unfortunately, that did not last long and I was laid off.

A friend of mine put me in touch with a hiring manager at a company called Tahoe Networks. After working for them for almost two years, they ended up folding and I was in search of a job again. Thanks to coworker from Tahoe Networks, I got an job at PathScale, Inc. which later got acquired by QLogic Corp.
