UbiSoft has confirmed the next installment in the Assassin’s Creed trilogy of games – Brotherhood. This game is going to be the first one in the series to include multiplayer.
The game will see the return of Ezio, the main character of Assassin’s Creed II, as the leader of a brotherhood of assassins. His journey would take him to new locations in Italy in his quest to rid the country of it’s enemies.
The small amount of information about the multiplayer mode on the Net says that players will be able to select which one of the assassins they would like to play. Each character will feature their own style and weapons. UbiSoft also confirmed that it will have a Beta period for the game, although there aren’t any details yet.
The game is scheduled to be released during the Holiday 2010 season.
