It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything related to the WP-Gallery2 plugin but there hasn’t been much activity anyway. I’ve been busy trying to mod and tweak the new Arras 1.4.2 theme that I updated the site to.
Last weekend, I added the ability to the Fancybox jQuery plugin to display the gallery images. I like this plugin better then Shutter Reloaded because it provides hooks for custom callback at different stages of the image loading, display, and switching/closing. This would make further integration with the Gallery Remote Protocol much easier – I can just have a callback that will update the view count of an image through some simple AJAX calls. The new plugin also looks much better.

I haven’t posted the new version of the plugin on the site yet but I expect to be able to do that in the next couple of days.
