A few days ago, I decide to start developing my first WordPress plugin…
Currently, I am using the NextGen gallery plugin for the gallery section but I wanted to be able to integrate my Gallery2 installation directly into the WordPress site. There are a few plugins that are supposed to allow you to do that but none of them seem to work properly. So, I figured, if I had to debug plugins and change code and stylesheets, I might, as well, write my own. That way I get the learning experience.
Here, I will try to keep a log of what I have learned and the development process. If this thing ever reaches the stage of being released. I can continue tracking it and communicating with any potential users of any changes, fixes, and bugs.
